Monthly Archives: June 2013
June in NW Montana – the first week’s weather forecast gave us the first promise of a full warm week – one of the more exciting aspects of it already being the 6th month of the year. Yet here we are, back to chilly and wet. Yup, June in Montana. Either warm or cool, we’re in full swing with our summer season.
So much has happened in our first full year of operation and we’d like to thank everyone who has been part of our success. The two open houses we hosted between Thanksgiving and Christmas were great fun and we plan on having another on the 6th of July. I like the idea of all of us, with houses full of family and friends on the Holidays having something fun and different to do.
We’re also back at the Farmer’s Markets. This year finds us expanding to four different locations.
– Whitefish Farmer’s Market on Tuesday afternoons from 5:00 – 7:30 pm nestled between the Train Station and the Brewery.
– Polson Farmer’s Market on Friday mornings from 9:00 – 1:00 pm on Main and 3rd St West. (We’ll also be offering a friend’s Free Range Chicken Eggs – they’re fabulous!)
– Kalispell Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings from 9:00 – 12:45 pm at its new location at Flathead Valley Community College (we’re in the north lot).
– Clark Fork Farmer’s Market on Saturday mornings from 8:00 – 1: pm under the Higgins Bridge in the Riverside Parking Lot. A bonus of this market is that there are 3 separate markets all linked by a trolley line.
We also have our ‘walk up’ window installed and do our best to be there Monday – Saturday from 9:00 – 5:00 pm. When we built the Creamery, we had no idea that folks would be so interested in seeing the place. Things being the way they are, there are times when neither of us nor our helper are available so, if you’re coming a ways to visit us, please call ahead so we can make sure we’re here!Posted in News | Leave a comment
