Somehow it’s October. We had the first snowfall on the Missions and it’s decidedly turning to Fall here.
Very excited to share our latest adventure.
We went to a table on the farm dinner, hosted by Justin & Beckie of Foodstead last night.
We started the evening with a tour of one of the pastures and the biodiverse soil practices they use.
The view made it a bit hard to concentrate!
We moved back to the barn for a fantastic all local meal featuring their beef (which we also got a box of to take home with us.)
The company was lively and it was wonderful to get out and visit with new folks.
With the freezer full of their Fall Seasonal Beef Sample Box, we’re ready for the cooler temperatures.
Hope your October is full of good memories of friends and food. Life would be rough without them!
