Week of 1-7Aug

“What’s going on with those cheese people?”

OK – really late this week BUT, the Boulder fire around the corner from us (10 miles) has pulled all my attention. We know folks who have lost their homes, those who were evacuated (some who even stayed with us) and have been allowed back home and some who are still waiting the fate of their properties. 0% contained and the highway is still closed. I don’t have the words. The fire crews are doing an amazing job along with those rescuing and housing livestock and pets. Folks have stepped up with all sorts of donations.

Other business – we are strictly a Creamery. We manufacture cheese. We have a fabulous walk up window where we offer samples of all we have available, talk your ear off and hopefully add some fun to your day.

We’re making feta today (Thursday) and it’s currently 92’ inside with about 75% humidity.

Still waiting on the Bison Summer Sausage.

Available Cheeses this week:

Curds – Back to all 5 flavors by the end of the week

If you’d like to join the ever so infrequent newsletter list, you can sign up on our website or email me at cheeseme@flatheadlakecheese.com  It’s been nearly a year but it’s where we’ll be sharing a secret or two.

Have a safe and fabulous week! Wendi and Joe
