It’s that time of year. Just sent out the last pieces of Hoppin’ Mad and we only have Doorstop and Buckshot available to order online and, well, to purchase here at the Creamery.

I know it shows more varieties available on the order page but know that if you order anything different, you’ll be getting a disappointing email from me. Just waiting for our wonderful web master to get a chance to update.

Funny – I have little cheese to offer BUT, thanks to very late delivery, I have plenty bison summer sausage. Perfect for a meat and cheese tray. Just a phone call away.

We are making cheese as often as we can (which is only once a week – Gouda needs several days up in the warm make room before it begins it’s vault time) and we even added an extra rack so we have room for 5 more batches of cheese.

Here’s how we’re expecting the cheeses to be ready

May – Just in time for the farmers markets! Doorstop, Wisp o’ Smoke and Hoppin Mad.

Jun –  Galiki and Buckshot should be ready for cutting.

Late July – Big Chai. We offer it during cherry season and then stop cutting till the Fall to go with the apples and pears.

August will see Hot Shot arrive onto the scene. We only made a few this go round as it was a slow seller last year. Kinda guarantees we’ll sell out of it quick this year.

Here’s to a fabulous February! Time to get back to the cheese making. Today is BIg Chai. I can taste the cherries!

Cheers, Wendi and Joe
