Week of 26Sep-2Oct
“What’s going on with those cheese people?”
We’ve hit a milestone this week. For the first time in our 10 years, we’re going to run out of Doorstop before the farmers market season ends! We’re down to a scant few pieces that I doubt will last the week. The next batch, along with Wisp o’ Smoke will be ready towards Thanksgiving.
Tuesday marks the last Whitefish market of the year and want to remind folks that the curds and Notz freeze so you might want to stock up. Marcus Foods carries some our products but cannot vouch they’ll have what you’re looking for. Also, the feta has a 20Mar22 expiration date so another item you might want to think about.
Polson and Kalispell markets run the first two weekends in October and, with the lack of aged cheese, personal energy, AND the fact that the Ronan Cooperative Brewery carry our curds, I’ve given up attempting to make it to the farmers market there.
We will not be doing the indoor end of the season Kalispell market this year.
We will be at First Friday at Good Coffee Roasting Company. If you’ve not visited their new location on Main Street yet, this is a great opportunity. Coffee, cheese, shopping.
Going back to that lack of aged cheese, even though it’s still September, you might want to start thinking about any cheese gifties you might want this Holiday season as we are limited in what we’ll have. I’ve ordered more bison summer sausage, have the organic coffee and freeze-dried cherries at the ready and am looking into a couple other local goodies that can be added to the gift boxes. Some would be preorder only so another reason I’m throwing this out early. Be safe out there and have a great week!
Available Cheeses this week:
Curds – All but Wasabi
Feta
Hoppin’ Mad, Big Chai and Buckshot and a few Doorstop

I guess I’m behind on everything. I’m only now listening to old episodes of Stuff You Should Know and finally getting around to checking out your shop because of the sweet, sweet discount you offer listeners.
No, really. What is still available? I can’t wait to try your cheese and I really love Gouda.
Howdy Cher, we are running low on a few things but, at this moment, anything showing in the cheese store is available. Have plenty of Hoppin’ Mad, Big Chai and Buckshot right now but just a couple pieces of Doorstop and Wisp o’ Smoke. Thanks for asking, Wendi
