Greetings from the land of cheese!
We visited Henry and her cohorts yesterday in a rare Sunday make. The days are filling up and we had to make the feta or be without.
So, since things are getting a little hectic, we came up with a plan.
Starting today, we would like to introduce a fun little segment we’re calling…
“What’s going on with those cheese people?”
Stop by every Monday to find out where we will be, any events going on AND what cheeses we have available. Of course, any deviations that happen during the week will be found on social media – twitter, Instagram or facebook.

I’ve been compiling loads of fun tidbits that I just have to get in an organized pile. It’s also where we’ll be sharing a secret or two. Or could it be three….. hum. Back to what this Monday update is all about –
Available Cheeses:
Tuesday morning, we will start packaging curds and will have all 5 flavors available – natural, smoked, garlic, wasabi and jalapeno. Notzarella too!
Feta, of course.
Aged cheeses – Doorstop, Wisp o’ Smoke, Hoppin’ Mad, and Galiki. The next batch of Hotshot should be ready sometime in July. We’ll cut Big Chai when the cherries are in season and I haven’t checked on the Buckshot. Will have that info next Monday.
Markets:
This week the Whitefish Farmers Market begins. Tuesday afternoons from 5-7:30 by the train station.
Thursday, Ronan Farmers Market 4-7pm, behind the Visitors Center right on Hwy 93
Friday, Polson Farmers Market 9-1pm, 3rd and Main
Saturday, Kalispell Farmers Market 9-12:30 (and there’s a cowbell to start and end the festivities so be on time. Those who are late, do not get fruitcup!), South end of the Community College up near Costco
General:
Creamery Hours changed a smidge. Closing early on Tuesdays
There is a total lunar eclipse on the 26th so I’ll be setting my alarm for 0410 so I can see it at its height. At least that’s what I’m telling myself now. Might want to check to see when it’s best in your location.
